Lately, I’ve had Claude Monet on my mind.
His impressionist paintings in soft hues that perfectly capture peaceful and dreamy outdoor scenes. If my life could look like a painting, I’d be taking inspiration from Monet. The colours, movement, and subject matter are all favourites of mine. So rather than daydream about putting on a victorian dress and frolicking through a poppy field in France (*cries* I wish), I’ve put together some of my favorite Monet masterpieces and played around with some digital art and colour pallets to create a Monet Inspired Mood Board.

Inspired by Monet
Whilst I would have absolutely loved to use this as an opportunity to create some Monet inspired art through self portrait photography or painting, unfortunately I am currently unable to do that. So instead I had a play around with Canvas new AI image generator to create some digital oil paintings. A girl needs to get her ideas out somehow! I think they turned out to be quite sweet, although nowhere near as fun as creating my own in real life.

Man, I need to look into his painting and get myself some of his artwork on my house. They're so stunning! I've never seen that chrysanthemum painting! Gorgeous!
